DRIVEN 2 GREATNESS presents the 2012 Wesley Matthews Skills Academy. Special appearance by Madison’s own WESLEY MATTHEWS. This FREE Basketball Camp is being sponsored by Driven 2 Greatness LLC.
Sunday August 26th. Madison Memorial High School, Madison, Wisconsin.
MISSION – The camp, now in it’s third year, is designed to give 6th grade-to-be through senior-to-be boys and girls basketball players in Wisconsin a tremendous skill development opportunity and fun day of basketball with Madison’s own Wesley Matthews of the Portland Trail Blazers! An Average of 300 campers attend the camp annually.
CAMP DETAILS – The camp will feature the latest and most innovative skill development training with hands-on guidance daily from Wesley. Wesley will be working with the campers – teaching, sweating, laughing and sharing. Wesley is committed to actively participating in the event and helping each player get better. Wesley’s trainer – Seneca Blue will be directing the camp and leading the drills. The camp staff will feature local current/former men’s and women’s college basketball players!
The Wesley Matthews Skills Academy will be a camp experience like no other. The event will feature fundamental to advanced skill development drills and training techniques. The camp is designed to be an intense group workout modeled after Wesley’s personal workouts that he has used on his way to his current status as a NBA rising star.
6th-8th grade girls will check in from 8:30-9:00am with their camp running from 9:00am-10:30am, 6th-8th grade boys will check in from 10:30am-11:00am with their camp running from 11am-12:30pm. 9th-12th grade boys and girls will check in from 1:00-1:30pm with their camp running from 1:30-3:00pm.
Each camper will receive a camp t-shirt. There will be opportunities to win prizes including items autographed by Wesley.
